Position Title: AssemblerWage: $18.50/hourShift: 2ndHours: 3:00pm - 11:30pmWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly & Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team in Bartlett, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and wire preparation while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Apply now!Assembler Responsibilities:Perform assembly of electronic and electromechanical components according to work instructions, schematics, and production specificationsSolder terminals and electronic components with precision and accuracyComplete lead wire crimping using appropriate tools and techniquesPerform PC board (PCB) soldering and component installationInspect assemblies for quality, functionality, and compliance with specificationsIdentify and troubleshoot assembly or soldering defectsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all quality standards, production schedules, and company proceduresRequirements for Assembler:Previous assembly and soldering experience in a manufacturing or electronics environmentProficiency in soldering terminals, lead wire crimping and PC board (PCB) solderingAbility to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and schematicsStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to quality and continuous improvementIPC soldering certification or equivalent training preferredExperience with electronic testing and inspection equipment is a plusFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes preferredAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to use hand tools and small assembly equipmentAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
