BD Specialist About this position The Business Development Specialist is responsible for generating leads through our internally developed Precision BD (PBD) philosophy and providing transparent reporting on BD metrics to drive accountability. Our ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the initiative to follow-through. Primary Responsibilities: Number one goal is enabling the company to generate the target number of qualified leads Works closely with marketing on what we are hearing on the and cultivating new leads from marketing activities Executes on PBD process for target accounts, including researching target markets, building out account and contact details in CRM, and assigning tasks as appropriate Assists with scheduling meetings/calls with prospective and current clients Executes PBD process for marketing events and onsite networking meetings Follows up on leads, ensuring next steps are identified, assigned, and completed timely Assists with moving leads through the pipeline by ensuring timely follow up of meetings, distribution of collateral, and/or submission of proposals Adheres to documented BD/outreach policies and procedures Owns ensuring the integrity of our CRM (HubSpot) Understands and can articulate our offerings and how we solve our clients’ problems As with any fast-growing company, this role will need to be flexible and happy taking on other responsibilities as needed as part of our collaborative team with a shared mission The Non-Negotiable Special Stuff: Motivated self-starter who likes a mix of independent and collaborative work Comfortable holding others accountable and pushing team members to meet or exceed goals Able to work within a framework and find ways to improve the framework Strong communicator who can appropriately tailor a message to the audience Organized, doesn’t need to be micromanaged, and has a keen eye for the details Willing to pick up the phone when trading emails is delaying progress Holds themselves to exceeding expectations that may already be a little high Able to recognize and admit what you don’t know, while being confident in what you do know Required Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience working in a fast-paced, relationship-based sales environment BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and individuals within the organization Experience working in and managing a CRM(e.g., HubSpot) Ability to work in and maintain a “startup mentality” to accelerate the introduction of new capabilities and improve existing processes Ancore Health provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
