Most stores open at 9AM and close at 6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program available to all employees on the second day of employment. Vacation: Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of active, full‑time service. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promote a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The Manager will analyze financial statements to meet goals, enforce asset protection policies, use internal and external marketing tools to promote the business, and handle a variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting. Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as needed. Communicate clearly with employees to align on the store’s mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties requiring extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week (hours not guaranteed). Computer literate and able to operate Point‑Of‑Sale systems and common office machines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit; additional details are provided during the interview process.
