In this role, you’ll write accurate, detailed repair estimates, serve as a primary point of contact for customers and insurance partners, and help guide each repair from intake through completion. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented professional who communicates clearly, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment while upholding Kniesel’s high standards for craftsmanship and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Deliver top‑notch service by clearly explaining repair plans, maintaining open communication, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion. Estimating: Demonstrated proficiency in collision estimating processes, including body, frame, mechanical, and paint operations. Conduct comprehensive damage assessments and produce accurate, detailed repair estimates. Insurance Coordination: Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure repairs are approved and align with insurance and Kniesel’s standards. Team Collaboration: Work closely with body technicians and other team members to manage repair timelines and deliver high‑quality repairs. Compliance & Quality Control: Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs meet Kniesel’s standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory guidelines. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role is preferred. Knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with customers, insurance companies, and team members. Familiarity with Nexsyis management software is a plus. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
