What will you be doing?

The IT Developer uses a broad range of functional and technical skills toward the build-out and integration of custom WWT applications and third party vendor systems and products. This position plays a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions. This employee will leverage their experience to contribute and help drive complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This could involve co-leading development efforts, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Applyingandstartingtoleadandpromote WWT Core Valuesandbestpractices.

• Software Design and Development: Design, develop, andtestsoftwareapplicationsandfeaturesinaccordancewithrequirementsandstandards.

• TechnicalLeadership: Start takingownershipandaccountabilityofcomplextechnicalchallengesandprovidingeffectivesolutionsbydemonstrating a deepunderstandingofrelevanttechnologies, frameworks, andtools.

• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conductcodereviewswith a focusonquality, maintainability, andadherencetobestpractices, offeringconstructivefeedback. Promoteandenforcecodingstandards, bestpractices, anddesignpatternswithintheteam.

• Testing: Conductcomprehensivetestingincludingunit, integration, functional, regression, anduseracceptancetestingtoensuresoftwarereliabilityandperformance.

• TechnicalProblem-Solving: identifyingandsolvingcomplexproblems, proposinginnovativesolutionsthatenhanceproductfunctionalityandperformance.

• MentorshipandCollaboration: Provideguidanceandsupporttojuniordevelopers, helpingthemtodeveloptheirskillsandnavigatetechnicalchallenges. Shareknowledgeandbestpracticeswithteammemberstoimproveoverallteamcompetency.

• Support andTroubleshooting: Offerongoingsupportandconsultationtoaddresstechnicalissuesandensuresolutionsmeetend-userneeds. Provideguidanceanddirectiononproductionissues. Start tomonitorandlookintosupporttrendsthatcanbeaddressedmoreproactively.

• Documentationand Reporting: Createandmaintaincomprehensivetechnicalandconfigurationdocumentation. Ensurethattechnicalinformationisclearlycommunicatedandissuesareeffectivelymanaged.

• AgileMethodology: ActivelyengageinAgiledevelopmentpracticesincludingsprintplanning, storycreation, dailystandups, testing, demosandretrospectives. Adapttoevolvingrequirementsandcontributetothecontinuousimprovementoftheteam'sprocessesanddelivery.

• Learning and Development: ContinuouslylearnandunderstandWWT'sbusinessandtechnicalprocessestoeffectivelycontributetoandsupporttheevolutionofourtechnologysolutions.

• Up to 10% domestic travel required

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field

• Bachelor's Degree is BS Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Engineering preferred

• Technical Skills: Frontend: Vue3, HTML, CSS, BootStrap, JavaScript; Backend: NodeJS, Rest APIs, Confluent Kafka, Event based programming; Database: Oracle SQL, Pl/Sql; Nice to have: Oracle HCM Cloud, Agentic AI

• Testing: Test firstmindsetwithexperienceintestautomation, unit, functional, end-to-end, andregressiontesting.

• AnalyticalandProblemSolvingSkills: Abilitytocriticallyanalyzeanddecomposecomplextechnicalrequirements. Strongproblem-definition, requirementselicitation, impactanalysis, andsolutiondesignskills.

• Communication: Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsforbothtechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences. Capableofpresentingideasclearlyandeffectively.

• TeamworkandLeadership: Collaborativeandteam-orientedwithstronginterpersonalskills. Provenabilitytomentor, guide, andworkeffectivelywithbothoffshoreandonsiteteams.

• Innovation andCreativity: Abilitytothinkinnovatively, presentalternativesolutions, anddemonstratecreativityinproblem-solvingandapplicationdesign.

• Thistierincludesspecificdomainareas, includingbutnotlimitedto: Full Stack, Applications Integrations, ServiceNow, Data Engineer.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $82,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
