This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, with the flexibility to create a schedule that accommodates your needs while meeting the demands of our clients. We provide a supportive outpatient office atmosphere, complete with access to necessary resources and tools to help you succeed in your therapeutic endeavors. Engaging with a diverse client population, you will primarily provide remote counseling, supplemented by in-person visits if desired and necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapy methods.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Remain engaged with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care that addresses the various aspects of clients’ lives, ensuring holistic treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life in Meriden, Connecticut, and surrounding areas. We serve a diverse community, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. As an LPC with us, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients, helping them navigate their challenges and find pathways to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal guidelines governing psychological practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide variety of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

• Experience using telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
