Electromechanical AssemblerCompany/Industry: Electronics manufacturerLocations: Ronkonkoma, NYSalary: Competitive, commensurate with experience, inclusive of benefitsStatus: Direct hire, FT on-site Mon-Fri 7am-330pmEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.Work on assignments that are semi routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 5 to 10% of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.Basic Qualifications:A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 2 years of verified related experienceLegal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job openingPreferred QualificationsMechanical Assembly ExperienceAbility to read and interpret schematics/blueprintsAbility to work under pressureCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $27.00All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
