Lead Manufacturing Technician - WKAM Assembly

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Lead Manufacturing Technician to oversee assembly operations at their Millersburg facility. The role involves leading a production team, ensuring process compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. Weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) required.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor production team members while executing manufacturing processes
Coordinate daily manufacturing activities and resolve complex operational issues
Implement and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, cGMP standards, and quality requirements
Review batch records and manufacturing documentation in regulated environments

Requirements

Minimum 4 years manufacturing, operations, production, or lab experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team mentoring experience
Proficiency with ERP platforms, manufacturing software, and Microsoft Office
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment and processes
Ability to lift 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in PPE and cleanroom environments
