We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation./ppstrongJob Responsibilities:/strong/pulliThe physical therapist prn selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patients diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans./liliDemonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols./liliPerform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly./liliAdheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries./liliCommunicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts./liliMay perform additional duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongMinimum Requirements:/strong/pulliEducation: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy/liliLicensure: Virginia Physical Therapist Licenser or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start/liliCertification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start./li/ulpstrongPreferred Requirements:/strong/pulliMasters degree preferred/liliOne year in outpatient setting/li/ul/div
