FOH Furniture is a commercial furniture provider specializing in complete furniture solutions for restaurants, offices, hospitality, schools, churches, and other commercial projects. We provide products and services ranging from furniture supply and customization to delivery, installation, and project support.

We are looking for an organized, responsible, and customer-oriented General Manager Assistant / Office & Logistics Coordinator to support our General Manager and assist with daily office, customer service, shipping, and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

General Manager & Administrative Support

• Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks, documents, reports, filing, and follow-ups.
• Help organize and maintain company documents and records.
• Coordinate communication and routine matters between the General Manager and overseas departments.
• Follow up with different departments regarding assigned tasks, schedules, and daily operational matters.
• Arrange internal team meetings and help prepare meeting materials when needed.
• Coordinate company activities such as team-building events, lunches, and other employee activities.

Reception & Customer Service

• Serve as the front-desk receptionist and provide a professional, welcoming experience for visitors.
• Answer incoming customer phone calls and route inquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Welcome walk-in customers, briefly introduce FOH Furniture and our products/services, understand their basic needs, and connect them with the appropriate sales representative.
• Assist customers with general questions regarding orders, pickup, delivery, and after-sales service.

Shipping & Logistics Support

• Assist the shipping department with daily shipping operations.
• Compare LTL, box truck, parcel, and other carrier options to identify competitive shipping rates and appropriate services.
• Obtain and compare freight quotes from different carriers.
• Book shipments and place shipping orders.
• Prepare and print daily shipping labels and related shipping documents.
• Coordinate customer pickups from the warehouse.
• Arrange LTL and box-truck deliveries for customer orders.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, warehouse staff, and sales representatives regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
• Track shipments and help resolve routine delivery issues.

Sales & After-Sales Support

• Assist the sales team with after-sales customer service.
• Coordinate customer pickups and deliveries after orders are completed.
• Help communicate order and delivery information between customers, sales representatives, warehouse staff, and shipping companies.
• Follow up on customer service matters and ensure requests are directed to the correct department.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Professional and friendly communication skills.
• Good customer-service attitude and comfortable interacting with walk-in customers.
• Comfortable answering business phone calls and communicating with customers and vendors.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and online shipping systems.
• Detail-oriented and able to accurately handle shipping labels, documents, addresses, and order information.
• Able to compare freight quotes and coordinate multiple shipments.
• Able to work independently while also supporting multiple departments.
• Strong follow-up skills and a sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in office administration, receptionist work, customer service, shipping/logistics, or sales support is preferred.
• Experience with LTL freight, shipping carriers, warehouses, or furniture businesses is a plus.
