The Boeing Satellite Mission Software Products organization is seeking experienced software DevSecOps engineers to be innovators in the development of our nation's next generation of satellite and space flight ground systems located in Mesa, AZ as primary location and Leesburg, VA as secondary location.

We seek skilled and motivated software developers who want to take their skills to the next level through hands-on development on a diverse multi-disciplined team of engineers, using the latest tools and methodologies for multiple long-term satellite ground system projects, in both commercial and government realms.

As a team member, you will work as an integral part of our Continuous Integration Platform team delivering exciting new features for our Satellite Operations and Ground System products.

The specific focus for the DevOps Engineer is on development, automation and optimization of the development and platform management lifecycle, including:

• Develop and sustain continuous integration (CI) pipelines for automated deployment of the highly available, mission critical cloud or enterprise platform product software for integration and test and operations
• Create scripts and templates to build development systems.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. A Post-start Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph is required.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
• Experience with a public cloud provider, ideally Amazon Web Services
• 5+ years of experience working with Unix/Linux distributions using command line terminals and GUI based desktop environments.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using Java and/or JavaScript

Preferred (Desired) Qualifications:

• Amazon Web Services certification highly desired
• Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc)
• Experience developing containerized microservices deployed into a cloud based orchestration framework such as AWS, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift.
• Experience using NPM for Javascript build and dependency management
