Senior Property Accountant

DescriptionKforce's client in is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Braintree, MA. This client is a long running real estate company. They have an excellent culture and hold fun outings for the team. They offer a strong benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick/vacation days, etc. This role will be fully in office to start and will move to a hybrid schedule after 3 months (1 day a week remote). Responsibilities will include:* Record financial data* Create and maintain payables and journal entries* Conduct account reconciliations* Review and analyze general ledger activity and resolve any discrepancies* Ensure mortgage payments and taxes are paid timely* Analyze and record accrued expenses* Prepare audit workpapers and manage the audit process* Prepare reporting packages to lenders and investorsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration* 4+ years of accounting experience within public accounting or real estate * Yardi software experience is preferred* Strong organizational and analytical skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation90000 - $110000
