Fox Mazda in Grand Rapids is hiring an Automotive Service Technician to help keep customer and internal vehicles safe, reliable, and performing as designed. This role supports customer satisfaction by delivering accurate diagnostics and quality repairs that meet dealership and factory standards.

Key responsibilities:
- Complete work listed on repair orders efficiently and correctly
- Diagnose the source of vehicle malfunctions and perform needed repairs
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to source required parts
- Communicate status and timing with the Service Manager and Service Advisor

Required qualifications/skills:
- 1+ year related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certifications and other certificates/licenses preferred, not required

What Your Day Looks Like

You'll start by reviewing the day's repair orders, then move between the shop and your work area as vehicles come in. Some jobs are quick and straightforward; others take focused troubleshooting time. You'll check in with advisors as priorities shift, wait on parts when needed, and keep your workspace organized so you can stay productive. By the end of the day, you'll wrap up open items, confirm what's ready for pickup, and set up a clean handoff for the next shift.
