Location: Sewell, NJ. Job Type: Part Time or Per Diem; full time position possible. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Orthopedic Spine and Extremity practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our renowned Orthopedic practice to provide exceptional patient care, assist in surgeries, and contribute to the overall success of our practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough pre‑operative and post‑operative assessments of patients. Review patient medical histories and perform physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X‑rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Work up patients and indicated injections and procedures. Manage mix of follow‑ups, new patients, telemeds, injections, and surgery (surgery assist is optional). Collaborate with Ortho‑Spine and Ortho Extremity surgeons and other PAs to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide patient education on treatment options, potential risks, and post‑operative care. Conduct follow‑up appointments to monitor patients’ progress. Manage and update patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Assist in the coordination of patient care, including referrals and consultations. NO ROUNDING. NO CALL. NO WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED, BUT ARE AN OPTIONAL IF PREFERRED. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and radiologists. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in Orthopedic Surgery. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or NP program. Current NJ state license and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience in Orthopedic Surgery; willingness to train the right candidate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $140,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year.
