Job Details Job Location: CSA - Building B1 - Lafayette, LA 70508 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Associates Degree Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Other Positions US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana located in LaFayette, LA. Responsibilities Provide routine and non‑routine care and education to patients, assisting Physician and Charge Nurse as needed; accurately document all care provided in patient chart Triage patient calls and respond to all requests within 24 hours, notify Physician of urgent matters and all test results Perform clinic duties in efficient manner to maintain smooth flow of clinic; prepare patient for examination, test(s) or procedure(s); conduct physician ordered procedures and referrals, schedule outside facility testing and procedures Work in conjunction with Authorization Specialists to ensure all procedures ordered and performed are pre‑authorized for reimbursement Follow all safety guidelines, adheres to universal blood and body fluid precautions; ensure work & clinical areas are kept clean and neat Represent company in a positive manner; adhere to Standards of Behavior; foster positive patient service‑oriented working environment & teamwork approach Respect and maintain patient privacy at all times Take direction for daily assignments from physician’s RN or Nursing Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited certified medical assistant or accredited nursing program. Maintain valid Certification or Louisiana LPN license A minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing clinical activities in a medical environment.
