Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available at a busy outpatient retail pharmacy located primarily in Cooperstown, NY, with occasional coverage required at nearby Oneonta and Delhi locations. This contract role supports a high-volume pharmacy operation filling approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly, focusing on exceptional customer service as a core value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients in a retail outpatient setting
• Participate in the Meds to Beds program to provide seamless hospital-to-home medication delivery
• Administer immunizations and maintain compliance with immunization protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams using PioneerRx pharmacy management and EPIC EMR systems
• Provide coverage at Oneonta and Delhi locations as needed during staff absences
• Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety, pharmacy policies, and superior customer interactions

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy practice, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems is highly desirable
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Comfortable working with Meds to Beds programs
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Flexibility to occasionally cover additional locations for vacation or sick time

Schedule and Location:

• Primary location: Cooperstown, NY
• Occasional coverage at Oneonta and Delhi, NY
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
