Details\n \n Main Operating Room within a Level I academic trauma center featuring 21 OR suites \n Covers all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics \n Nursing team composed of 75% RNs and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate \n Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 10:30am-11:00pm \n On-call requirement of up to 2 weekend call shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) per 4-week scheduling period \n Floating required within scope to like units or sister facilities \n Uses EPIC charting system \n Requirements\n \n Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required \n BLS certification required (AHA certifications only) \n Radiation badge required (provided by agency) \n 2 years of OR experience strongly preferred \n Scrub experience strongly preferred \n EPIC experience preferred \n SSN and Driver's License required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Provide circulating and scrub nursing support across a busy, nurse-driven, Magnet-designated department \n Work within a Level I Trauma Center, academic teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds \n Scrubs provided by facility \n Required to work at least one holiday period, either Christmas (Dec 24-26) or New Year's (Dec 31-Jan 1) \n Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs \n First-time travelers may be accepted depending on position needs \n Previous permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler \n Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate \n Candidates residing within 60 miles are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized \n During hurricane season (June-November, peak August-September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-735217.
