We are seeking an experienced PCAT Lead to lead our welding team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for coordinating daily workflow, ensuring quality standards are met, promoting a culture of safety, and helping the team achieve production goals.This is not a desk job. The PCAT Lead is expected to work alongside the team, provide technical guidance, solve problems, and help develop welders into top performers.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support a team of welders throughout the shift.Assign work based on production schedules and priorities.Perform welding duties as needed while leading the team.Ensure all welds meet quality specifications and customer requirements.Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.Inspect work for accuracy and workmanship before moving to the next operation.Train new employees on welding techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.Promote and enforce all safety policies, including proper PPE and safe welding practices.Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve issues.Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.Monitor material usage and minimize scrap and rework.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through 5S principles.Lead by example in attendance, professionalism, teamwork, and work ethic.QualificationsPrevious lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.Strong MIG welding experience required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.Working knowledge of welding equipment and fabrication processes.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Preferred QualificationsExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives.Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who:Leads by example every day.Takes pride in producing quality work.Holds themselves and others accountable.Coaches rather than criticizes.Communicates clearly and respectfully.Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.Values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package that includes:Competitive pay based on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceTraining and advancement opportunitiesStable, full-time employment with opportunities for growthAnova provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
