LABORER

About the Position This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Carolina Lakes Golf Course. The purpose of the position is to perform manual laboring tasks involving the use of heavy hand tools and heavy power equipment associated with maintenance of the golf course. Qualifying Experience In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Experience that has demonstrated the ability to operate, control, and clean heavy powered equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds. Work that does not require the skill and knowledge in operating heavy equipment continually involves extreme physical effort, such as constantly lifting or carrying objects weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more with assistance. Conditions of Employment Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment physical. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
