Security Officer Gated Community
As a Security Officer Gated Community in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, and maintaining accurate access records. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the residential community by verifying authorization for residents, guests, deliveries, and service personnel in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry points, common areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and potential security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
