Duration: Permanent assignment

Position Overview
Join a mission-driven healthcare team dedicated to serving U.S. Veterans. The Medical Assistant / Clinical Office Administrator plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations while providing professional, respectful, and efficient support to Veterans, providers, and staff.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured healthcare environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

• Back office blood draws, EKGs, Spirometry exams, etc.
• Greet and check in Veterans, complete screenings, verify demographics, and obtain required documentation.
• Schedule, confirm, and update appointments; communicate exam instructions and same-day changes.
• Receive and triage incoming phone calls and visitors; provide information in accordance with policy.
• Chaperone medical exams as required by the examiner and exam type.
• Maintain accurate compliance files, records, logs, and charts in accordance with HIPAA and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Order and manage office supplies and assist with mail distribution.
• Serve as the point of contact for IT issues, repairs, installations, and record retrieval.
• Assist with orientation and onboarding of new staff and practitioners.
• Perform light cleaning and sanitization of the front desk and common areas.
• Support Veterans with service animals and ensure no Veteran is refused service.
• Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant certification or diploma.
• 3+ years of Medical Assisting experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
