About the Position

Job Title: CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality Profession: Allied Specialty: Rad Tech General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: BLS; ARRT(R) for Rad Tech; BLS; ARRT(R)(CT) for CT Tech; BLS; ARRT(R)(CT) and ARRT(R) for Dual Modality CT/DX; BLS; ARDMS for US Tech; and BLS; ARRT-N or NMTCB for Nuc Med Tech. Certifications: Required certifications vary based on modality discussed during the interview. Must-Have: Ability to handle a variety of diagnoses across Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient areas. Description: This position requires a CT/Rad Tech with dual modality capabilities. The facility has 182 licensed beds and a Trauma Level IV designation. It operates as a teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center. The average number of patients per day across modalities is 325. First-time travelers are accepted, and the traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit. All modalities require a photo ID during the compliance process. NC State Licensure is not required for this position. Skills required will vary based on the modality discussed during the interview. Support within the department includes nursing and transport staff. The department uses an Electronic Medical Record system. The equipment includes Siemens and GE. Weekend rotation and call requirements depend on the modality discussed during the interview. Travelers will have holiday expectations of working 75% of the holidays. Requests for time off require manager approval. The department culture promotes patient-centered care with a high volume setting and team accountability. Black scrubs are required attire.
