Internal Medicine Physician OpportunityA well-established healthcare practice in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts is launching a brand-new High Risk Clinic and is looking for an Internal Medicine Physician who wants to do medicine differently.This is a rare opportunity to help build a program from the ground up — with significant clinical autonomy, no volume-based quotas, and a genuine focus on whole-person care for patients navigating complex challenges including PTSD, severe anxiety, substance use disorder, and disabilities. Day-to-day you'll conduct in-depth health assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Behavioral Health Specialists, Care Coordinators, and nursing staff. The role also involves helping patients address non-medical barriers — housing, employment, transportation — because this clinic treats the whole patient, not just the diagnosis.Minimum three years of clinical experience required; backgrounds in integrated care or harm reduction models are a strong plus.This region is one of those rare places that genuinely delivers on quality of life.
