Supportive Concepts for Families is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to provide after-hours operational leadership and oversight for our community residential programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Pennsylvania.

This is a field-based leadership position designed to support our residential teams during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays—ensuring individuals receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care while providing real-time guidance and support to Direct Support Professionals, Program Specialists, and on-call leadership.

As the "eyes and ears" of the organization after normal business hours, you'll help maintain quality, compliance, staffing stability, and rapid response to operational needs.

What You'll DoOperational Oversight

• Visit assigned community homes throughout your shift.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure homes are safe, clean, and compliant.
• Complete inspection reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Staff Leadership

• Serve as the after-hours management representative for residential programs.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time support to Direct Support Professionals.
• Assist staff with problem-solving and operational decision-making.
• Reinforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct staff observations and provide immediate feedback when appropriate.

Individual Support

• Observe individuals served to ensure health, safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Respond to concerns involving health, behavior, staffing, or environmental issues.
• Assist during emergencies or crisis situations as needed.
• Support individuals and staff during difficult situations while maintaining a calm leadership presence.

Staffing Support

• Assist with staffing shortages and emergency coverage.
• Help coordinate staffing resources with the on-call team.
• Monitor staffing ratios and respond when immediate adjustments are needed.
• Assist with orientation and just-in-time training for employees working after hours.

Quality & Compliance

• Document findings from site visits.
• Follow up on corrective action items.
• Identify trends and communicate concerns to operational leadership.
• Ensure homes remain survey-ready and compliant with regulatory standards.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Program Directors, Program Specialists, Community Health Nurses, HR, Quality Assurance, and On-Call Leadership.
• Provide detailed shift summaries and communicate significant events to daytime leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience supervising residential, healthcare, behavioral health, or IDD services.
• Strong knowledge of residential operations and person-centered supports.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas.
