Experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Liberty, MO (near Highway 210 & 291)

Pay: $27-$32 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (flexibility required)

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at a cold storage facility in Liberty, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to make a real impact on operations and team performance.

The ideal candidate will not only have strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills, but also experience helping improve preventive maintenance programs, work order processes, and overall maintenance team efficiency. We are looking for someone who can help drive continuous improvement and take ownership within the department.

This position also offers strong growth potential, with the opportunity to advance into a Facilities Maintenance Manager role in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance in a cold storage environment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues

• Assist in building and improving preventive maintenance (PM) programs

• Help improve work order processes and maintenance tracking systems

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance team

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Work collaboratively with operations and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Previous facilities maintenance experience required

• Experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or cold storage environments preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and help lead process improvements

• Flexible and dependable with scheduling as business needs change

• Leadership mindset with interest in future advancement opportunities
