Vice President, Practice Operations About the Company Prominent physician-centric specialty medical group Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Practice Operations to take on a pivotal, high-impact leadership role in a large, established, and growing Texas market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full oversight of clinical and administrative operations across the region, driving performance in key metrics such as growth, efficiency, patient experience, and cost management. This role also involves close partnership with the development team to support the evaluation, acquisition, and integration of new practices, as well as building strong, trusted relationships with physician leaders to ensure alignment between operational execution and physician priorities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of healthcare operations experience, including senior leadership, and a proven track record in leading multi-site physician practice or MSO environments. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Practice Operations include operational and market leadership, growth and acquisition execution, physician partnership, team leadership, and infrastructure, process improvement, and systems, as well as financial and performance management. The role demands a data-driven, strategic thinker with strong execution skills, and experience in supporting acquisitions and integrations is highly preferred. The candidate should be a strong leader with the ability to build and mentor teams, implement systems, and scale operations, and must ensure that all operations meet regulatory requirements and internal standards. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred, and the role involves significant travel across the state.
