Job Description: CNC Manufacturing Engineer | Morganton, NC
Job Summary
A candidate for this position must have strong CNC machining knowledge. This knowledge must include programming, processing, and implementing efficient methods of successfully running high-quality machined parts for many industries. Estimating knowledge is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage current and new projects while consistently assessing projects for continuous improvement.
- Estimate new projects.
- Mentor others in improving their CNC manufacturing skills.
- Work within the Company’s ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
Job Requirements
- 10-year minimum hands-on experience with CNC programming and setup.
- Highly proficient in CAM programming.
- Strong knowledge of standard and custom tooling.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good computer skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to multitask as required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
