We're partnering with a well-established industrial machining and equipment repair company in Lakeland that is looking to add an experienced   Industrial Mechanic   to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, rebuilding, and repairing industrial equipment in a hands-on shop environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery and equipment
• Service pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and power transmission components
• Perform inspections and identify worn or damaged parts
• Take and record precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Reassemble and test equipment to ensure proper operation
• Work with machinists and other shop personnel to complete repair projects
• Assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and other repair-related tasks as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

Who We're Looking For

• Previous industrial mechanic, industrial maintenance, machinery repair, or related experience required
• Experience repairing and rebuilding industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Experience working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and power transmission equipment preferred
• Proficient using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Must possess basic mechanic hand tools
• Welding, machining, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards

What You Can Expect

• $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekly pay
