Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular diseases and conditions. Develop individualized treatment and management plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, and other anterior segment interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff—to ensure continuity and quality of care. Educate patients on ocular health, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold the highest clinical and ethical standards. Stay current on advances in ophthalmology and emerging technologies that enhance patient care. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of Ophthalmology Residency training Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Why ReFocus Competitive compensation and productivity-based incentives.
