Cyber Architect (Mid/Senior)

Job Description HII Mission Technologies Division’s Fighters and Advanced Aircraft and Bombers Team seeks a senior-level System Cybersecurity Analyst to make an immediate impact in the development and integration of communications, navigation, weapons delivery, and propulsion system modifications on world‑class Department of Defense/United States Air Force Fighter and Bomber Aircraft. The System Cybersecurity Analyst is part of a team providing expertise and technical management support to acquisition program managers and will be responsible for following Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for weapon systems that generate unclassified and classified data. The applicant will develop, coordinate, and maintain all documentation required for A&A packages to achieve interim approval to test and an authority to operate as required by the acquisition program. The applicant will develop the cybersecurity assessment required in support of the Command’s Platform Information Technology system acquisition and/or modifications. Additionally, they will review supporting program documentation such as Information Support Plans, Concepts of Operation, System Requirements Documents, Initial Capabilities Documents, Program Protection Plans, and Capabilities Description Documents. Responsibilities: Experience in Department of Defense and/or United States Air Force acquisition programs and cybersecurity is required. Experience conducting A&A activities under the DoD RMF. Candidate must be self‑motivated and capable of performing with little supervision. Candidate should have a demonstrated technical understanding of aircraft communications, navigation, and other aviation‑related information systems. Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers. Minimum Qualifications Cyber Architect 3: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field. Cyber Architect 4: 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field. Cyber Architect 5: 15 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field. Relevant experience is defined as performance of cybersecurity‑related activities on a Department of Defense system (preferably a U.S. Air Force Aircraft System) or on a Communications, Navigation, or other aircraft system. Secret‑level security clearance minimum at the time of application with the ability to obtain a TS‑level security clearance. The candidate must be self‑motivated, able to work in a team, willing to learn new concepts and processes, and able to take constructive criticism and adapt/learn from mistakes. The candidate must be able to work independently and in a team to create quality products on time. The candidate must communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Requirements Cybersecurity‑related certifications. Physical Requirements Work will be in a typical office environment. Light lifting may be required. Building temperatures may fluctuate between hot and cold during seasonal transitions. Salary Anticipated Salary Range: $116,771.00 – $150,000.00. The listed salary range is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location, expectations, and responsibilities.
