CNAFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant for a 8-week travel assignment in Lansing, Iowa. They help with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and mobility, while also assisting to monitor patient conditions to ensure their well-being.Essential Work Functions:Record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirationAssist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingProvide mobility assistance, including repositioning, transfers, and ambulation supportHelp with feeding and meal assistance for patients with dietary needs or restrictionsMonitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staffOffer emotional support and companionship to patients and their familiesEnsure accurate and timely documentation of patient care, observations, and any changes in conditionAdhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulationsPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of practiceRequired Essential Skills:Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to read, write, and communicate in the English languageAbility to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skillsPhysical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bendInterpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalismTechnical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipmentMental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
