Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective care during labor and delivery, including postpartum support.
• Circulate for C-section operations and ensure adherence to surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, including Pitocin and epidural anesthesia, as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on post-delivery care and newborn care procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, including recent experience.
• Postpartum care experience and ability to circulate C-sections.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
• BSN required; teaching hospital experience preferred.
