Chandler operates five divisions, including four in Minnesota—Blaine, Long Prairie, Montevideo, and Wyoming—and one in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.The Shipping Clerk prepares items for shipment based on customer specifications and verifies and maintains records of outgoing shipments.Oversee end-to-end shipping and logistics operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and on-time delivery of domestic and international orders.Coordinate packaging strategies using prefabricated cartons, custom crating, and customer-specific skids/pallets to protect product integrity and meet customer and regulatory requirements.Manage and optimize shipping routings; collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Planning to adjust schedules and mitigate delivery risks.Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Export Declarations, and Letters of Credit.Coordinate domestic trucking and international freight logistics, serving as a key liaison between carriers, internal teams, and external partners.Administer daily parcel shipments and maintain carrier systems (UPS manifest), ensuring accuracy and cost-effective shipping practices.Monitor shipping schedules and performance metrics to support 98%+ on-time delivery goals, proactively identifying and expediting past-due or high-priority orders.Support inventory accuracy and control through order picking, staging, part verification, and participation in cycle count initiatives.Perform material handling operations using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and company vehicles in compliance with safety and operational standards.Inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments; resolve discrepancies and ensure materials are properly recorded and documented.Operate company vehicle to transport parts and materials as required.Load outbound trucks and unload inbound shipments using appropriate material handling equipment.Contribute to problem-solving efforts and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area and comply with company procedures and safety regulations.Contribute to company goals and continuous improvement efforts.Other duties as assignedRequired Skills & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.Prior shipping experience, preferredMust be very detail oriented and quality focusedMust have highly accurate data entry and computer skillsMust have strong problem-solving and organizational skillsMust use solid judgement and independent thinkingMust have a positive and professional demeanorMust be capable of physical activity, including standing for up to 8 hours per day, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading trucks, etc.Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position.
