The job of Office/School Clerk is done for the purpose(s) of providing general clerical support to assigned area; communicating general information to staff and the public; processing information in compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and assisting other office personnel. *WE CAN PROVIDE INTERVIEWS VIA ZOOM*
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Job related experience is desired. One year of experience in clerical work; 24 semester or 36 quarter units of college level secretarial training may be substituted for experience. (Relevant job experience is a prerequisite for permanent positions, but may not be mandatory for substitute roles.) REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED TESTING: Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (One (1) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the position closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the position closing date will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred.)

- Typing Certificate (Minimum Required Typing Speed is 40 net words per minute. Certificate must show your name and must be dated within the last 12 months prior to the date your application is submitted)
