Warehouse Operations SpecialistJoin our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and coordinating with the Customer Service team to ensure all shipping documents are completed accurately and promptly.ResponsibilitiesTransact customer orders using both carrier and ERP systems.Conduct quality control inspections within the workflow.Package and tape international shipments in multi-pack cartons for export.Affix shipping labels on packed cartons.Take an accurate inventory count at the end of each day.Serve as a backup order picker as needed.Assemble cardboard cartons for large, multipack shipments.Move prepared shipments from shipping cart to dock door as needed.Contact forwarding companies to arrange pick-up.Consign shipments to forwarders and ensure correct shipments are consigned by verifying documents.Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers.Ensure the shipping area is kept organized and neat.Inform supervisor of any issues on the shipping floor.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMaterial HandlingComputer literacyGeneral warehouse experienceShipping and ReceivingOrder PickingForklift operationUse of RF scannersProficiency in Excel, Word, and OutlookAdditional Skills & QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProblem-solving capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to learn new software/applicationsForklift Certification required or ability to obtain certificationWhy Work Here?Our state-of-the-art facility includes a full kitchen, game area with pool and ping pong tables, a TV lounge, a small library, and a full gym.
