Event Showroom Associate – Bridal Market Luxury Bridal & Fashion Event Support Event: National Bridal Market, August 16 – 18 Location: Chicago, IL – The Mart Employment Type: Temporary About This Opportunity GCJ Hospitality Resources is hiring Event Showroom Associates to support one of the nation’s premier luxury bridal industry events. This is an opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a world-class fashion trade show experience. You’ll work alongside leading bridal designers, exhibitors, and event teams to ensure showrooms are beautifully presented and event operations run seamlessly. Whether you’re assisting with showroom setup, garment care, exhibitor support, or event breakdown, your attention to detail and professionalism will help create an exceptional experience for every attendee. Responsibilities Pre-Event Setup Unpack bridal gowns, accessories, and showroom materials Steam garments to presentation standards Hang gowns according to showroom layouts Assemble garment racks, displays, and signage Organize inventory and prepare showrooms before opening During the Event Support exhibitors with daily showroom operations Maintain the presentation of gowns and displays throughout the event Rehang and organize dresses after buyer appointments Handle luxury garments with exceptional care Keep showroom areas clean, organized, and guest-ready Assist with general event operations as assigned Event Breakdown Carefully remove gowns from displays Fold, bag, and prepare garments for shipment Pack showroom materials and accessories Assist with inventory reconciliation Restore exhibit spaces following event close Qualifications We’re looking for professionals who are: Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Able to lift up to 35 pounds Professional in appearance and communication Team-oriented with a positive attitude Previous experience in events, hospitality, retail, fashion, visual merchandising, bridal, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required. What to Expect This is an active, hands-on event role inside a luxury bridal marketplace. Assignments may include early morning setup, event-day support, and post-event breakdown.
