Dental Assistant - Part TimeThe Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Nevada dental standards.Pay range $14.90 to $19.38 (based on experience)At CHOICE Healthcare Services, our mission is to provide everyone access to the healthcare they need. Other duties may be assigned.Assists the doctor in proceduresTakes x-raysTakes IO'sAssist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teethInstructs patients on oral hygieneCharts cavities and teeth with doctorSterilizes instrumentsSets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygieneCharting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctorQualificationsEducation and/or Experience:Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredBilingual in Spanish is preferredRequired Certificates or Licenses:X-Ray Nevada certification or affidavitBLS certification4-hour Infection Control certification
