Job Description

Title: Material Handler / Materials Technician

Location: 100 Nagog Park, Acton Massachusetts 01720

Shifts timing:

Monday to Thursday (6am to 6:30pm) / Pay Rate: $22.09/hr on W2.

Friday to Sunday (6am - 6:30pm) / Pay Rate:: $24.29/hr on W2

Friday to Sunday (6pm - 6:30am) / Pay Rate:: $27.61/hr on W2

Position Overview:

Under supervision, support Material Control Room operations by accurately and efficiently moving components between the warehouse and cleanroom.
Follow company procedures, complete SAP/ERP transactions, and maintain compliance with 21 CFR and ISO 13485 standards in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety policies, QMS procedures, and work instructions.
Operate computers, SAP/ERP systems, printers, pallet jacks, and plastic baler as trained.
Replenish the Material Control Room and prepare materials for clean room transfer using the Kanban system.
Accurately record material movements in SAP.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
Respond promptly to two-way radio communications.
Complete end-of-shift duties, including trash removal and packaging empty trays.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
No prior experience required; training provided.
Warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
Proficient in English with strong communication and reading skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Positive team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

Lift and transfer up to 30–50 lbs.
Stand and bend for up to 12 hours.
Frequently lift above shoulder level and occasionally below waist level.
Safely operate manual pallet jacks and use proper ergonomic lifting techniques.
