Location: Urbandale, IA Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Collect, process, and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
- Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient documentation and signatures
- Ensure accurate specimen labeling and maintain compliance with established protocols
- Maintain required records and documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional and welcoming environment for patients
- Travel to multiple patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
- Perform daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
- Medical assistant, paramedic, or other medical training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Strong specimen collection, processing, and documentation skills
- Excellent customer service and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as needed
- Keyboard and data entry proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
