This individual will serve as a trusted communications partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, translating business priorities into compelling, consistent, and differentiated communications that strengthen our brand, engage our employees, and enhance our reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, strategic thinker, rigorous executor, and confident advisor who can move seamlessly between high-level strategy and deliverable production. This person will bring an understanding of consulting services and/or professional services, a strong business acumen, exceptional executive presence, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Executive CommunicationsDevelop and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy aligned with CEO communications, business objectives, and brandingServe as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO and senior leadership teamDevelop a multi-year strategy for the CEO that aligns her skills and brand with the appropriate public speaking, print, and media platformsDevelop editorial calendars and content strategies that support business development, brand awareness, and thought leadershipHelp define and consistently reinforce the company's voice, positioning, messaging, and narrativePrepare senior leaders for key internal and external communications, presentations, media opportunities, and industry eventsIdentify opportunities to elevate executive visibility and thought leadershipPartner with Marketing, Sales, Research, HR, Operations, and other functions to ensure communications are coordinated and alignedBuild strong relationships across the organization and serve as a communications resource for leaders and teamsEstablish communication standards, processes, and best practices across the companyLead the development of high-quality content that demonstrates the company's expertise, data-driven perspective, and point of viewTranslate complex business, financial, and industry topics into clear, engaging communications for different audiencesCollaborate with external partners to identify stories, insights, trends, and perspectives worth amplifyingInternal CommunicationsOwn the company's internal communications strategy and cadence, ensuring employees are informed, aligned, and engagedDevelop communications around company priorities, business updates, organizational changes, culture, people initiatives, and major milestonesPartner closely with HR and senior leadership on employee communications, engagement, culture, and change managementSupport communications for company-wide meetings, events, leadership updates, and other employee-facing initiativesEnsure internal communications are timely, transparent, consistent, and aligned with company culture and communication styleExternal Communications & BrandDevelop and execute communications strategies that strengthen the company's reputation and market positionPartner with Research, Marketing, and Sales to develop compelling external messaging that effectively positions our industry-leading thought leadershipOversee corporate announcements, press releases, contributed articles, social content, website messaging, and other external communicationsIdentify opportunities for CEO, key executive, and company visibility through industry publications, speaking engagements, events, awards, and other channelsMaintain consistency across all external communications and brand touchpointsQualifications & Experience10-12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or corporate / executive communicationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related discipline preferredExperience in financial services, professional services, investor relations, public relations, agency, activist defense or another complex B2B environment strongly preferredProven experience advising C-suite executives and senior leadersExceptional writing, editing, storytelling, oral, and presentation skillsStrong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex business and industry issuesDemonstrated ability to develop and execute communications strategies from concept through completionExcellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationSuperior project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of autonomySuccess will be measured by the strength and consistency of the company's voice, the effectiveness of executive and employee communications, increased visibility and thought leadership, stronger employee engagement and alignment, and the degree to which communications serve as a strategic advantage for the company.Package OfferCompetitive base salary and annual performance bonusRobust healthcare package – company paid premiums up to 75% (Medical, Dental Vision)Retirement plan with a company match and opportunity to participate in company profitability sharing programSignificant opportunity for long-term career growth and professional development as we continue to grow and scaleCorbin is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
