Radiation Oncologist

Duties

Help. Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Oncology Service is a part of a large, complex, VA Medical Center with consults and referrals from VISN Medical Centers and outpatient clinics. Responsible for all functions which fall under the scope of care of Radiation Oncology Service (ROS). These include clinical and administrative management, either directly or through delegated authority of the following:

• Initial patient evaluation
• Patient simulation, radiation treatment plan and prescription
• Patient management during treatment
• Follow-up care post treatment
• Consultation with other services
• Provide emergency care
• Research initiatives
• Resident supervision/education

Pay

Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off
