Sales Specialist

Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Sales Manager. Role This is a hybrid position in Miami, Florida. The role contributes to the Smart Power and Smart Building in Central America and the Caribbean. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will aim to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities. Communicate to customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy. Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate ABB’s value proposition to customers. Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities as needed. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not necessary) with 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in the electrical industry and with ABB products. Customer & Sales Expertise: Proven ability to work with OEM customers and channel partners, manage complex contract negotiations, and respond quickly to customer needs. Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong in technical applications, proposal development, and use of analytical software and sales tools; Six Sigma or equivalent quality training preferred. Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience leading discussions and building strong customer relationships. Candidates should be fluent in English and Spanish. Work Authorization & Travel: Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US, and be willing to travel as needed.
