Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead internal audit activities, strengthen organizational controls, and support compliance initiatives across a large healthcare system. This role will oversee operational, financial, and compliance audits while helping develop audit strategies, policies, and risk assessment programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational, financial, and compliance audits across the organization
• Evaluate internal controls, processes, and risk management practices
• Develop and implement annual audit plans and audit methodologies
• Track management action plans and remediation efforts
• Assist with external audits, including federal and regulatory audits
• Develop continuous monitoring and data analytics tools to improve audit effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and industry best practices
• Oversee sales and use tax recovery processes and compliance requirements
• Supervise audit staff and provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) required
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting or internal audit experience
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and risk management
• Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Strong data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Salary: $82,742+ annually (based on experience)
