Perinatal Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging for pregnant patients, with a focus on high-risk and maternal-fetal medicine care. In this role, you will perform detailed obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds, evaluate fetal growth and anatomy, and capture diagnostic images that support timely clinical decision-making. Working within a collaborative, patient-focused team, you will partner closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses. Responsibilities include obtaining thorough patient histories, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining strict safety and infection-control standards. You will document findings in the electronic medical record, manage PACS workflow, and help coordinate patient throughput.
