Job Description

1. Operate Baca Robo Saw to cut to shop drawings and specified layouts.
2. Operating profiling machines to shape and polish specified edge details
3. Safely cut and polish sink holes to templates
4. Use tools to safely grind and polish edges with portable power tools
5. Fill small chips and perform touch ups
6. Self inspect work upon completion
7. Responsible to meet quality expectations set forth by Management for all work performed.
8. Responsible to meet production expectations set forth by Management for all work performed.
9. Responsible coordinate with the Supervisor for all issues regarding any discrepancies or mistakes.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Preferred 2 years Stone Sawyer/Machine Operator experience
3. Must have the ability to read and work from shop drawings and diagrams created manually or from a CAD program
4. Ability to follow directions and coordinate with other workers in the shop, thus upgrading the skills and performance individually and as a team within the shop
5. Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
6. Experience with proper and safe use of all machinery and tools utilized in granite fabrication
7. Skilled craftsman with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
8. CNC Stone Machine Operator experience a plus
9. Fantastic organizational and time management skills
10. Strong problem-solving skills
11. Meticulous attention to detail

Additional Information

If an offer of employment is extended, it will be conditional upon successful clearance of a background check and drug screen for illegal substances.

1. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time
2. Must be able to frequently stand for long periods of time
3. Must be able to occasionally climb stairs
