Your New Role

As a Residential Service & Sales Plumber based in Fairfield, CA, you'll focus on diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and completing residential plumbing repairs with integrity and skill. Strong troubleshooting abilities are key; you'll be the person homeowners trust to get it right the first time. This is a residential service and sales role, not an install-only position. You must be comfortable presenting options, recommending repairs and replacements, and closing sales during service calls.

• Handle residential plumbing service calls, from routine maintenance to urgent repairs
• Troubleshoot systems accurately and make clear, confident recommendations
• Install and replace water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to avoid repeat issues
• Present multiple solution options to homeowners and clearly explain repair and replacement recommendations
• Build trust with customers and convert estimates into approved work during service calls
• Meet performance metrics tied to revenue and production goals
• Communicate with office staff to coordinate scheduling and customer updates
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and job site
• Build rapport with customers through professional, respectful service

• Valid California Journeyman Plumber License or eligibility to join the union (Preferred, but not required)
• Minimum of 5 years residential service & repair experience
• 2-5+ years of residential plumbing sales experience required
• Must be comfortable presenting repair and replacement options and closing sales during service calls
• Ability to come out of the box running with no sales training provided
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and maintenance skills
• Professional demeanor and strong communication with both customers and teammates
• Ability to read plumbing diagrams and follow code requirements
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to pass a standard drug screening and background check
