Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Ironton, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.47 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Observe operations and facility conditions, report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
