Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Response in Hanover Township, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and report potential loss-prevention concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual observations accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
