General Surgery call coverage Inpatient consultations and admissions Surgical management of acute general surgery cases Endoscopy procedures as needed Daily rounding responsibilities Required Experience

Candidates should be comfortable performing: Laparoscopic procedures Appendectomies Cholecystectomies Hernia repairs Upper and lower endoscopy Chest tube placement Central line placement General trauma surgery management Qualifications

MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery Active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility ACLS certification ATLS certification Assignment Details

In-house call coverage Approximately 5 patient encounters per day About 2 admissions daily 30-minute response time requirement
