Electrical Hardware Engineer

This position reports to: Senior Project Engineering Manager Role Overview In this role, you will support electrical sustaining engineering activities for instrumentation and analytical products. You will contribute to product improvements, design support, and cross‑functional engineering projects while applying design‑for‑excellence and engineering best practices. Work Model Onsite in Bartlesville, OK. Key Responsibilities Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assisting in preparing proposals and presentations of engineering projects. Performing design verification in accordance with applicable standards and internal engineering guidelines. Supporting compliance with UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and other applicable standards. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and product management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required). 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware design, sustaining engineering, or related fields. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Must have work authorization that permits working for ABB in the US. Preferred Qualifications Experience with electrical hardware, PCBAs, electronic components, and cabling. Experience with OrCAD, Altium, Windchill PLM, and Microsoft Office 365. Knowledge of electrical design principles, PCBA design, and product lifecycle management. Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, RoHS, REACH, and PFAS compliance. Experience working in cross‑functional engineering or product development teams.
